When a quote PDF doesn’t turn up

There are two different problems here — the PDF not reaching you, and it not reaching your customer. They have different fixes.

"The quote never arrived" means one of two things, and it is worth working out which before you do anything.

If the PDF never reached your chat

Check your signal — a PDF is a file and needs a working connection to download. Also check WhatsApp's media auto-download settings, which some people disable on mobile data. Scroll back in the chat too; on a busy thread it may simply be above your last few messages.

If you got it but the customer did not

GraftG sends the PDF to you; you forward it. If the customer has not received anything, the forward is the step to check first. Look for the file in your chat with them.

Sending by email instead

Some customers prefer email, and a forwarded WhatsApp PDF is easy to lose. Forward the file to their email address if that suits them better — it also creates a cleaner record for you.

Then follow it up

Whichever route you used, a quote that has gone quiet needs chasing — see the quote follow-up habit. "Did the quote come through OK?" is both a useful check and a natural nudge.

FAQ

Why can I not see the quote PDF in WhatsApp?

Usually a connection issue when the file was sent, or media auto-download being switched off. Check your signal, scroll back in the chat, and ask GraftG to resend the quote if it is genuinely missing.

Can GraftG send the quote to my customer directly?

GraftG sends the PDF into your chat and you forward it, which keeps you in control of what your customer receives and when. It also means the quote arrives from you, which is what customers expect.
